The things which make you a happy bunny are ‘Treats’ such as spending time watching your favourite series, buying a dress you were admiring, making a small getaway, reading your favourite novel or all other things you really enjoy.
Meanwhile, you would have told yourself that you will treat yourself when you will accomplish a certain task. But dear, that’s not a treat, that is the reward which you have earned by performing a specific duty successfully. You have earned that reward.
Unlike rewards, you don’t need to earn treats or justify those treats. Treats are small pleasures which keep you motivated, energised and focus towards your goals.

While you are busy achieving your goals, there has been a time when you skipped the get-togethers, gym sessions and other important parts of your social life. Which hopefully given you the financial and professional growth but not the balanced social and personal life.
Now the question comes, is it a bad thing?
Well, surely it is. Because balance is an important thing for a happy life. And for that balanced life, you need to treat yourself by doing what makes you happy and by taking care of yourself.
Self-care is recognising your own needs and taking actions to satisfy them. Such as doing some activities to nourish yourself emotionally, physically & mentally. It enhances your health and well-being.
It will help you in focusing and will stop you from giving up on things.
2. It will boost you to work hard happily:
Treating yourself once in a while cheers up your mood, you get energised, motivated and happily start working for your goals. So it will ultimately result in better outcomes and a happy you.
3. It is empowering:
When you treat yourself, it gives a self-fulfilment sort of feeling, which means you are capable of making yourself happy, you just don’t need someone to do small things for you. As you can become the source of your own happiness. Also, by treating yourself, you will get to know the way how other people should treat you. And it is a must-to-know thing.
4. Treating yourself helps you overcome the stress.
While you are under stress due to work, personal issues or other reason, one thing that makes you overcome that is pampering yourself & treating yourself well. This will not sort the problem but it will calm your mind, decrease the stress and give you the right state of mind so that you will be able to deal with the situation more effectively.
Meantime, treating yourself is not about just spending the money or splurging, small activities like spending a ‘me-time’, listening to your favourite music, doing things which calms you, refresh you; are also get included in this.
So friends, whenever you feel low, exhausted, or stressed, just do things which you love. Things which refresh you, energise you, motivate you and give you inner happiness, peace & joy.
