I do not want a flawless skin, said No One Ever! Well, everyone wants to look flawless and the best of themselves.
But, is getting the flawless skin is a task?
No, it’s not. You just need to get aware of few things, that’s it. Today, I will share some really important beauty rules with you all, which can make a beautifully healthy impact on your skin. Here they are-
1. Know your skin:
It is a very important aspect because if you do not know your skin type then you will not be able to buy the right skin care products. Therefore, analyze your skin type then spend on skin care product as per your skin type. You will surely get positive results. Also, your skin type is not a permanent thing, it changes with time and especially with the weather.
Like, I am a combination skin person. I usually have T-zone oily area during summers and dry skin in winters. So, if you share the same skin type, then make sure you switch product time to time according to your skin requirement.
Because a product which is made to deal with oily skin contains specific types of ingredients which work well on that specific skin only. If you have normal skin and you are using the product meant for oily skin then you will end up drying your skin completely. And, it will lead to dehydrated, dull skin. So, dear ladies, pay attention to your skin requirements.

2. Cleansing and Exfoliation are game-changing factors:
I have said multiple times that how much CTM(Cleansing, Toning & Moisturizing) process is important for a healthy skin. But what if you are following the same and still not getting any visible results?
It is happening because maybe you are not doing the steps in the right way. When we stay outside for a long time, our skin tends to get affected by dirt & pollutants, so just applying cleanser and rinsing off the product may not clean your skin properly. The same thing goes with makeup.
It is not necessary that cleanser will remove all the dirt and traces with makeup in one take.
Now, what to do?
Just cleanse your face twice with cleanser twice, simple! I do the same thing and it works perfectly for me. Plus, when you cleanse your skin properly it does look fresh.
So, what you will do next time?
Simply massage your face with a nice cleanser for a minute or two and wash with lukewarm water. Repeat the step one more time!
If you have not applied any makeup on the face and didn’t stay outside at all then you can skip cleansing your skin twice, just massage an adequate amount of cleanser for 2 minutes and wash it out.
You must be thinking that why cleansing is this important?
Simple, because it is the first step of skin care. Cleansing makes your skin super clean with no oil or dirt build-up on the surface and in pores, which means the other products are able to penetrate your skin finely.
Note-> Always use a mild cleanser which is meant for your skin type as the wrong product can leave your face totally dry.
Meantime, Exfoliation is equally important but it is not the step which we need to do on daily basis. I suggest you that exfoliate your skin twice a week. It is adequate. As exfoliation helps in getting rid of all the dead skin, white and blackheads, & cleans pores deeply. Which results in the fresh, soft and bright skin.
Note-> Be gentle on your skin during exfoliation and don’t overdo it as it can lead to breakouts.
3. “Correct order” of skin care products:
Have you seen many beauty bloggers and YouTubers applying so many products in their skin care routine?
How many of you say yes, if I say that it is kind of confusing? Initially, I found two aspects very confusing- what is the order and why that order?
But, I have done my research later and summed up that in one rule that is “T2T” which means “Thin to thick.” Simply apply thin or lightweight products first and save the thick formulas for later.
The skin care product layering order is:
- Cleanser
- Toner
- Skin serum
- Eye cream
- Moisturizer
- Sunscreen
This is the right order and I explain to you why.
When we cleanse our skin, there is no trace of any dirt, makeup or anything else. It is super clean that means the product we apply after cleansing can easily penetrate our skin can work their magic. Therefore, after cleansing, we need to apply toner to restore the skin’s pH balance and for extra cleansing.
Afte that you can apply skin serums if you are using them for dealing with some skin issue. Eye creams come after serums.
Applying these important skin care product on freshly cleanse and toned skin can give you amazing results because, after the C&T part, the ingredients of serums and eye creams can directly penetrate your skin. It means they will work well on your skin with better impact.
Furthermore, you can apply moisturizer on your face at last because its ingredients will create a protective barrier on your face and hydrate the skin. So no dry, flaky skin anymore.
Here comes the final step which is sunscreen. Do not ever skip this in daytime skin care regime. No matter if it’s cloudy or sunny, you do need SPF whenever you are stepping out in the day. Wanna know, why it is important? check out here.
You can skip SPF in night skin care regime undoubtedly.
-> If you are using any spot correcting cream, you can apply that after toner and before skin serum.
Note-> Always buy SPF product according to your skin care for best results.
So, these three are “Golden Rules” for the flawless and healthy skin. I hope this post helped you. Stay tuned for more amazing information. 🙂
