Dear friends, have you all ever gone through a phase when you didn’t want to do anything? You are not feeling that energy to keep moving on the paths you have decided for your goals.
Ever? Well, I have felt the same multiple times! And, I hope you will agree with me when I say it is a common phase and almost every individual feels this state at some point in life.
But, it is not a happy state, right?
So how can we backfire this phase with lots of energy and positivity?
Well, here I will tell you today the simple ways by with you can motivate yourself. I hope these ways work for you as it has worked for me really well.
1. Break the routine:
Keep doing the regular activities can be exhausting. Stop doing the things which are into your routine. Instead of that do something unusual.
Such as changing the timings of doing things, change your bedtime, do the tasks in different ways or prioritize your daily activities and cut the less important for a while.
2. Visualize your goals:
When you are not feeling like doing anything just sit back, relax and visualize your goals. Figure out that why you want to achieve those goals and what will be the outcome of achieving those goals.
The picture you will get by visualization will work as a motivation factor and help you in keep moving towards your goals.
3. Plan small treats for yourself:
Break your long-term goals into monthly or weekly goals. And decide small treat for yourself when you will accomplish those goals.
Likewise, plan that you will watch a specific movie after completing the one-week goal happily which you are willing to watch for a long time.
Or you will buy yourself the pair of shoes you were drooling over once you accomplish your monthly goal.
This is a really helpful way to keep yourself motivated towards your goals.
4. Talk to the “ONE” person:
There is always ‘ONE’ person in our life we look upto. That one can be your family member, better half or friend. The one who motivates us to keep doing good. The one who makes you FEEL good. Usually, our mood instantly lifts up by talking to that person.
So, if there are times when you wanna play dead in your bed, just talk to that person and get your lazy ass to the track. 😄
-> One more thing you can do to pump yourself full with energy is- sit back and listen to the inspiring music which is a hell lot of motivating.
Music is such a great way to lift your mood because it causes the brain to release dopamine; a feel-good chemical. It definitely helps in changing the state of our mind.
By the way, you will be amazed to know that music can actually change our perception too. All it depends on what type of music we are into. So select your playlist wisely, choose happy music and put those headphones on!
It sounds quite easy, reading these ways of motivation and thinking about the implementation, isn’t it?
But we know that-
Goal-setting is an easy step, finding the right path for that goal and start walking on that is easier too but what is tough is actually keep walking on that path. To be consistent is difficult. But, as we know consistency is the key to success.
So be consistent even if you do not want to do anything, do not stop completely, take baby steps on the path of your goals because at the end it will worth it!
